ABOUT ME

Fact – I am here now because of the challenges
that my changing life presented me with.

First came the time I discovered a contact with spirit, not just people but trees as well. I was so surprised to find that I was speaking to and playing with people that others in my class claimed were not there. I had no reason to think any different until I was labelled. Looney, Nutcase and Witch were the favourite of various other descriptive names. I very quickly learnt to keep quiet about it especially at school.

Reading the Tarot cards started everything off for me once again. As the cards opened my enquiring mind - What else was out there? Wanting to find out more meant coming across many different wonderful helpful people. Either suggesting a book to read or a workshop to attend or even a simple chat with someone lead to new insights and all of these lead to new interests.

At one point I became panic struck because it occurred to me that there was insufficient time in this lifetime for me to learn everything I wanted to learn. For years whilst trying to find my path (I had not realised I was already on my path) I encountered, to name a few, Reflexology, Past-Life-Regression, Crystals, Runes, laylines & energy centers, Chakras, Kundulini, Meditation, Sound, Hypnosis & Neuro-Linguistic-programming, Buddhism, Wicca, Energy Clearing, Reiki and Healing in its many forms tumbled into my life.

Yet I still remained confused as to what was the true purpose of it all. What is the point of me discovering and learning to develop skills in all these seemingly unconnected fields. I continued to search for my path, knowing at this point that it could not be far away. Still, I did not realise I was on my path and following it very well indeed.

My path lead me to the Shamanic way. This sang to my heart and soul. It was as if I recognised it, almost remembered it. Now it all made sense. Now I understood that my path had been beneath my feet all the time. All the ups and downs, twists and turns, losses and gains had brought me here. Under the umbrella of the Shamanic way everything I know and do fits together perfectly. Even my life long Guide turned out to be a Shaman. Very soon after this ‘connection of all things unconnected’ a huge reshuffle of my life too place. During this phase, when I tried to seek guidance as to my next step forward, I was given my shamanic name of ‘Runningwater’. Once again a familiar recognition rushed through me making my heart sing. Part of me had re awoken.

Today you find me still on my path. I have learnt to run with the flow with a little more ease. I still follow my path and on the way continue to meet and help some very wonderful personalities. You could be one of those personalities that comes to join me on my path for a few steps before turning off in your own direction as you too, follow your path. Paths often meet and run alongside each other like this, sometimes our paths briefly cross over others, yet there is always an exchange of blessings/energy of some description.
