LIVE SHAMANICLY
Living Shamanicly – You incorporate
these fundamental beliefs into your every day life. It is a life
living learning process, with no beginning or end. With each day
comes further learning and development. Most people dream of living
in peace and harmony. Many of these people also feel they cannot
create that desired peace & harmony, they believe they do
not have the power. When living Shamanicaly you stop looking outside
beyond your reach to create peace and harmony. You start within.
Then you develop to a stage when you can comfortably look to your
immediate surroundings, which have already benefited from your
inner work. This then progresses to reach out even further as
you continue to incorporate the basics in your day-to-day life.
It is not easy to become fully aware of gifts you receive and
be accepting, respectful and give acknowledgement by way of thanks.
Many of these gifts are taken for granted. This is not usually
intentional, you do not set out to take gifts for granted. What
you perceive as a gift changes as you become more involved in
the shamanic way of living.
An example: Have you ever travelled
to work and truly noticed all that is around you. Made a CONSCIOUS
effort to notice all the nice things around you. Then each time
you spot something that is pleasing to you – say thank you
and truly feel respect and gratitude. Thank the birds in the trees
for showing themselves to you today; thank the birds in the sky
for flying by. Thank the buds on the trees for showing their little
heads as they shyly come forward. Thank the scenery before you
as a whole for the changing colour and shapes as the seasons/climates
change. Thank that unknown person who was singing so heartily
while driving along that it made you smile (they did look funny)
thanks for showing you that small piece of enjoyment and allowing
you to have the option of picking up with that cheerful energy
if you so wished. Thank the clouds in the sky for bringing the
potential for new life in the plants and refreshing the colours
and contours of dusty buildings by washing them off and casting
shadows. Thanks for letting Me be Me.
Later, with practice, you learn to appreciate the things around
you that you do not like or find less appealing, thus giving due
consideration, remembering all are equal and showing respect.
