SHAMANIC WALKER
This is someone who has learnt the art of
allowing their spirit/soul to leave their body and travel into
other realms of reality. In shamanism there are basically two
types of reality. Ordinary reality (which we live in) and Non
Ordinary reality (these realities are made up of overlapping layers
but that comes later). With this ability comes an expansion of
awareness. The Shamanic Walker has an awareness of both their
ordinary (physically in the here and now e.g. room) reality and
their Non ordinary reality (journey) at the same time. Only by
learning how to alter their state or shift their consciousness
can this be achieved.
The walk is often referred to as the shamanic
journey.
The technique for Shamanic Walking/Journeying can be taught (Shamanic
Journey workshops)
however to develop this skill into a natural easy functional
part of you and your life commands a commitment. Commitment to
practice and learn, practice and learn. Accept the lessons you
are given (even when they seem offensive) and act upon them with
consideration respect and thankfulness. This in turn enables you
to enhance new levels of balance and harmony in your life and
your shamanic walking/journeying. Shamanic journeying gives you
a tool that can assist you with any dilemma or situation. By meeting
allies who can give you advice with new insights, empowering you
in your life.
